Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of IowaRoofingCompanies.com (the "Site"), operated by Iowa Roofing Company ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or submitting a request through it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site does

IowaRoofingCompanies.com is a free service that helps homeowners connect with local, independent service providers. We are not the contractor. All contractors and providers are independent businesses, and we do not warrant or guarantee any work performed. It is the homeowner's responsibility to verify that any hired contractor holds the license and insurance required for the work being performed. Persons depicted in photos and videos on the Site are actors, not contractors listed on IowaRoofingCompanies.com.

2. Estimates

Figures shown by the instant estimate and financing tools are illustrative ranges only, based on the information you provide. They are not quotes, offers, or commitments. Final pricing is set by the provider after an inspection; financing terms and approval are set by the lender.

3. Consent to be contacted

By submitting a form on the Site, you provide your e-signature and consent to receive calls, emails, and text messages from us and our Marketing Partners at the phone number and email you provide, including through automated dialing technology or prerecorded/artificial voice messages, even if your number is on a federal, state, or company Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. You may revoke this consent at any time as described below.

4. SMS / text messaging terms

• Program. After you submit a request, we and our Marketing Partners may send you text messages about your request, matching providers, appointment reminders, estimates, and related offers.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
• Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that sender. After you send STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
• Help. Reply HELP to any message, call us at (319) 900-5230, or email [email protected] for support.
• Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Eligibility. The messaging program is intended for the account holder of the mobile number provided, aged 18 or older.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to provide accurate information, to submit requests only for property you own or are authorised to act for, and not to misuse, scrape, or interfere with the Site.

6. Disclaimers and liability

The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, errors, omissions, work quality, licensing, or insurance of any independent provider, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Site.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version; continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

When you submit a request with your consent, you may be contacted by us and by one or more of the Marketing Partners below (or their affiliates and service networks). This list is updated from time to time; the companies relevant to your request depend on your project type and location.

• Information collected automatically: basic device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and approximate location, collected through standard web technologies.

How we use it

• To respond to your request and connect you with local, independent service providers and, where relevant, lending partners.
• To contact you by phone, email, and text as described in the Terms of Service, where you have consented.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site.

How we share it

When you submit a request, we share your contact and project details with the service providers and Marketing Partners who may fulfil your request. They may contact you directly. We may also share information with vendors who operate the Site on our behalf, or where required by law. Sharing with Marketing Partners in exchange for consideration may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law — see the California notice for your rights.

Your choices

• Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that sender.
• Ask to be placed on our internal Do Not Call list by calling (319) 900-5230.
• Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Email [email protected] to access, correct, or delete your information.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

California Residents

This notice supplements the Privacy Policy for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA ("CCPA").

In the last 12 months we may have collected the categories of personal information described above (identifiers, contact details, project details, and internet activity) and disclosed them to service providers and Marketing Partners.
